Research-based Systematic Investment Management Company || Winton is a multi-strategy fund, trading 7500 global equites, all liquid futures markets, bonds, FX and interest rate swaps || Winton is a global business supported from 7 offices, 4 datacenters, AWS and Azure

As Chief Technology Officer I was responsible for developing and implementing a technology strategy which delivered the best possible investment returns to our clients. The Technology division was the single largest unit within Winton, with around 60 engineers.
Before becoming CTO, I spent many years as Head of Special Projects, applying my unique skills across the entire business.
Prior to that, I specialised in Tick Data and Execution, developing the technology to enable research into, and trading of, intraday and latency dependent signals across futures, equites & FX.

I designed and built software to allow researchers to efficiently design, run and analyse real-time cognitive experiments, using eye trackers, FMRI machines and optical brain imaging scanners.
